Scramasax. Great knife of the Vikings. Forging, carving. The handle is made of valuable real bone (Walrus tusk). The hilt depicts a scene from the Germanic Scandinavian epos «Song of the Nibelungen», when Siegfried kills the dragon Fafnir. Rune inscription: «hariuha haitika: farauisa: gibu auja: ttt» —
«My name is Hariuha: dangerous knowing: I give a chance.» farauisa is interpreted as fara-uisa, «dangerous» or «traveling.» Eric Moltke translates this word as «one who is wise in dangers.»
